The noise from the conference center was unbearable. I was placed in a room that gave the feeling of it was right next to a high-traffic area, which completely ruined my experience. The staff did not seem concerned about my discomfort, and checking in was awkward, with no warm welcome whatsoever.

Staff very pleasant and efficient . Room spacious and cleaned twice a day. Good value for money as well.
building very ordinary from outside and view from windows very dull as hotel is one road back from the sea

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. In the restaurant they even remembered our room number at breakfast, which was very nice, you could order hot selections in addition to the cold buffet they put out.The rooms were very comfortable and well tended to. It was an ideal location being at the v & a waterfront where we could easily walk to dinner each night and not have to get a cab.

I felt very welcome and it was home from home and I was well cared for all the time. Special thanks to your main man on the door and all the staff who car fetched my car, Desmond was one of them. Please pass on the picture to my special friend on the door. He is an asset to Portswood. Deirdre Capell Room 206
The dinner menu needs a bit more variety.

Great location in V&A Waterfront. Safe walking distance to Victoria Wharf shopping mall and all restaurants. In day time we took a walk to Cape Town city centre and then we came back by taxi. Safe place for Cape Town stay. Friendly staff and basically nothing to complain about (compared to price level in that area).
Some improvements in room service could be done and water in the pool is cold.

Location: the hotel was really close to a Safari that included breakfast, the Waterfront's best bars, shopping and the new Springbok Experience and A quay. Luckily it was close to Vovo Telo, had pastries there when it was wet outside.

We found the staff welcoming and very obliging. The hotel's location is perfect in terms of accessibility to local shopping and attractions. It was very convenient having a valet service for vehicle parking. Room service was prompt.
The breakfast serving staff were strangely unfriendly (in comparison to all other staff), and the breakfast service left a lot to be desired. I noticed that we were not the only guests who were unhappy, having to wait to get the attention of a waitress for either coffee or to order a hot breakfast. On one morning, I ordered hot milk with my coffee and it simply never arrived. Another morning the poached eggs were not cooked properly and the scrambled egg was dry and tasteless. Clearly there is something amiss with the morning shift!

The staff provided really good service, especially at breakfast, where the variety was excellent and local fish was a standout option. A warm welcome from the doorman. The ground-floor room offered limited views, while higher floors had fine waterfront sights. Though the pool area was decent, it was less vibrant than expected during peak hours, and the dining options could have been more diverse at lunch.

Staff very helpful and friendly. The location is what makes this hotel.....just minutes from the v and a waterfront. We had a very pleasant stay. Rooms quite small and little storage space but it was acceptable for our long weekend break. I would stay there again.
Rooms quite small.

Charming, charming, charming.
I had the most good stay! The breakfast spread was very nice-think fresh pastries and hearty options that kickstart your day right. Plus, the location is a dream with the vibrant waterfront just a short stroll away-so many cute restaurants and shops at your fingertips!

One of the best locations in Cape Town. Most of the staff is very good in courtesy and friendliness.
Cleanness of the room may have room to be improved.
